    Most people don’t realise they qualify for Vat exemption.

    You are eligible if:
    Have a condition that is classed as chronically sick.
    Are registered as disabled.
    Have an illness which is terminal.
    An impairment that has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on your ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities.

    How to claim Vat exemption:
    If you qualify for Vat exemption we need a written declaration via a completed Vat Exemption form we provide, prior to your order being placed.

    What if I do not qualify for Vat relief?
    If you do not qualify for Vat relief, then Vat will be charged at 20%.

    All stock mattresses are sent via courier, these are usually received within 3-5 working days from when your order is placed.

    We offer a full 30 day money-back guarantee, for all stock mattresses sold. For hygiene reasons, mattresses must be unopened, unused and in the original packaging. To raise a return request with us, please call our customer care team on 01752 512222 or email us info@bakare.co.uk

    All mattresses are covered by a sliding scale warranty, the warranty covers against faulty manufacture/materials defect. The warranty does not cover damage to the mattress or cover, due to abnormal usage or fluid ingress caused by damage to the mattress cover.

    Sliding scale warrant explained:

    • 100% in the first year as discount off replacement goods
    • 50% in the second year as discount off replacement goods
    • 25% in the third year as discount off replacement goods
    • 10% in the fourth year as discount off replacement goods

    One of our friendly product advisers can provide virtual product demonstrations via Zoom, Teams, FaceTime and WhatsApp. This is a great way to discuss your requirements and also check if the functionality and features of the bed will be suitable, so you can make an informed decision on your purchase. We can also offer in-home demonstrations if required.

    We have a non-sales approach for our free of charge demonstration service, we offer this service purely to make sure the product’s of interest will meet the needs of the end user/purchaser.

    We are a reputable company who has been trading since 1993, we don’t believe in pressure sales tactics and understand that in some instances people are wary of inviting ‘sales people’ into their homes. Whenever we book a home demonstration, our friendly advisers always request that a close friend, carer or family member is present when the home demonstration takes place.
