Our beds use wheels which retract inside the hollow bed legs when not used. For greater movement over longer distances, we can offer hospital style caster wheels.
The wheels are retracted inside the hollow legs when stationary. When the bed requires moving, the wheels extend, lifting the bed from its legs onto it’s wheels. The wheels are extended & retracted from a simple button press on the handset, controlling low voltage motors.
As a safety feature, the wheels will only extend with the bed in it’s lowest position.[video_left][video_frame] [iframe url=”//www.youtube.com/embed/c2zhC6fBT-E?rel=0″ width=”560″ height=”315″] [/video_frame] [video_text]
Retractable wheels are hidden inside the hollow bed legs. They are electrically extended in order to move the bed and retracted as a brake in order to stop the bed from moving.[/video_text][/video_left] [hr_shadow]
Some of our beds come with larger casters for moving longer distances. These can be centrally locked / unlocked.[video_left][video_frame] [iframe url=”//www.youtube.com/embed/OvKooWDgd3A?rel=0″ width=”560″ height=”315″] [/video_frame] [video_text]
