Medi-Pro+ Foam Mattress

Utilising a blend of the latest high density and memory foam material and design techniques, the Medi-Pro+ range of mattresses provide maximum comfort while achieving the optimum level of pressure relief for users at risk of pressure sores.

The Medi-Pro+ offers the ability to "mix and match" different combinations of pressure relieving and comfort foam into an interchangeable insert, in order to match the most appropriate lying surface to the users requirements. As those requirements change, the interchangeable insert can be changed to suit. This cost-effective system of mattress upgrade reduces the need to purchase different styles of pressure relieving mattress, in turn reducing storage requirements and outlay on mattress replacements.

The foams used help to prevent mattress sag, and with the Medi-Pro+'s design incorporating side wall support, this offers the ability for users to move themselves more effectively on the mattress and assists those who are able to self transfer from a wheelchair.

Medi-Pro+ Construction

The Medi-Pro+ mattress is a two-part construction consisting of a base and insert. The base is standard throughout the range, constructed with Air Flow channels on the bottom section to improve the bed climate.

The integrated side wall construction allows the correct hinged movement of the mattress while providing firm edge support for the user.

The insert is constructed from a combination of high density foams along with specific layouts and interweave designs. Used in conjunction with the mattress base, these inserts ensure flexibility throughout the mattress range that will meet most comfort or pressure care requirements.

Medi-Pro+ Insert Configuration

The Medi-Pro+ range consists of 5 types of mattresses identified Medi-Pro+ 1 to Medi-Pro+ 5. All mattresses within the range use identical base and sidewall construction, and are differentiated only by their type of inserts as illustrated below. The inserts are designed to meet individual requirements and are interchangeable.
