Thanks to the four-winged folding sliding door, the barred sides and the flexible height adjustment possibilities, the Savi Tom provides very good therapeutic support. The combination of the beech wood design and Perspex sides ensure that high visibility into and out of the cot are maximized. Due to the low entry height (approx 30cm), access is available to all who are able to self transfer.

As with all cots in the BaKare range, the timber is specially treated to DIN71-3 (Toy Safety suitable for children) and comes complete with a wood care and repair kit.

Mattress Choice

BaKare recommend the Medi-Pro+ mattress range, which has been designed to provide a solution for both comfort and pressure relief on adjustable and static beds. Medi-Pro+ mattresses are stringently tested and fully meet fire regulations BS7177:1996 Medium Hazard, Source 5.
 

Safety and Standards

Mains power control circuit and low voltage operation for user safety. The following standards apply for the Savi Tom child care bed:

The Savi Tom also complies with residential / nursing home insurance policies.
