A key benefit of the Vital Recliner chair is horizontal lift action with a very high maximum height. Independent back and footrest controls are mobilised by two separate motors allowing each section to be positioned exactly as required facilitating infinite reclining positions.

The Vital recliner chair’s wooden curves and fabrics accomplish an attractive, clean scandinavian style.

With a maximum seat height of 78 cm, which can be adjusted to a maximum of 88 cm, the seat can raise high enough for most peoples needs. The arm rests follow the tilting of the seat providing comfortable support in any seat angle. The chair "tilts-in-space" which means the lumbar support performs whilst tilted back. You sit on a reclined seat, which stops you from sliding forward and spreads the pressure over the whole seat surface.

The Vital comes with a fixed base and provides excelllent stability even in the maximum upright position. For transfers, good stability coupled with long arm rests (which can be extended a further 5cm) yield extra safety and easier access to a walking aid.

Safety and Standards

Safety: The Vital Recliner Chair is CE-marked, and conforms to the relevant safety requirements, as specified in government directives. The chair is rated in the sealing category of IPX0 (not sealed).

Electrics / Control: Two independent motors, safety class II (double protective isolation), main power 230-240V 50HZ single phase, chair operating voltage 24V low voltage.

Care and maintenance: The actuator rod should be wiped with a dry cloth and silicon spray or machine grease should be applied once a year. The upholstery in microfiber can be foam washed. The neck rest and arm rest upholstery can be taken off and machine washed in 40 degrees Celsius. Leather upholstery is best wiped off with luke warm water and mild soap. Vital Recliner chairs may not be cleaned using chemicals, in automatic wash plants or with high-pressure hoses.

Client Considerations: Vital Recliners are suitable for clients weighing up to 125kg (approx 19.6 stone).
