The Volker S280 combines the stylish design of the 2080 with a hospital bed undercarriage to produce an attractive bed suitable for patient transport over uneven surfaces. The Volker S280 is suited to an individual within their own home and also to care homes and hospices requiring professional nursing beds for use within multi-occupancy environments where patient transportation is a requirement.

    Mattress Choice

    BaKare recommend the Medi-Pro+ mattress range, which has been designed to provide a solution for both comfort and pressure relief on adjustable and static beds. Medi-Pro+ mattresses are stringently tested and fully meet fire regulations BS7177:1996 Medium Hazard, Source 5.
     

    Safety and Standards

    Mains power control circuit and low voltage operation for user safety. The following standards apply for the Volker S280 nursing bed:
    • EN 60601-1
    • EN 60601-1-2
    • BS EN1970 (applicable parts only)
