Special Needs Beds
With over 20 years of experience combined with the latest knowledge regarding the manufacture of beds for special needs children, BaKare have been supplying comprehensive special child care bed combinations - comprising bed, mattress frame and mattresses.

Specialist Mattresses
We supply specialist mattresses including memory foam mattresses. Specialist adjustable bed mattresses are designed to profile accurately in line with the bed.
Choosing the correct mattress is as vital as selecting the most appropriate care bed, as they are both fundamental to comfort, pain relief and can reduce the soreness from pressure related conditions.
BaKare Medi-Pro+® mattresses are stringently tested and fully meet fire regulations BS7177:1996 Medium Hazard, Source 5.
Adjustable Bed Furniture
We supply high quality bedside cabinets & other furniture to compliment your adjustable bed.
The attractive aesthetics are gained from using the same veneer and solid wooden laminate finishes as the Volker beds.
We are also specialists in contract supply of bedroom furniture to care homes and institutions.
Volker Accessories
For 2080, 3080, 3080K, 5380, S280 and S380 Healthcare Beds.
Accessories supplied by Volker are attached to the beds simply by dropping them into or hanging them from integrated sockets, holders or rails. All Volker accessories are designed to exactly the same high quality standards demanded from all of our beds. Therefore you can feel confident when you are using Volker approved accessories.
Hoists & Assists
Our hoists and stand assists can provide easy, safe and comfortable assisted transfers for patients in care or with rehabilitation needs. Their design allows patients to be transferred or assisted from either a bed or wheelchair.
These models have been designed for home, residential unit or hospital use and possess features which can address patient needs in terms of function, reliability, manoeuvrability and safety.
