This position is ideal for those wishing to eat, read or watch television whilst in the bed.

The bed can be profiled so that going to bed early to read or watch TV may be acheived independently.

Some beds such as the Volker & Belletto range utilise an anti-stomach compression system that provide additional comfort & ease of use for the carer alike.

When the back section of the bed is raised, it's design allows it to 'slide' up & backwards along special runners, towards the head end of the bed.

An anti-stomach compression system ensures that the user is not pivoted or folded in the waist area, leading to a more comfortable & relaxing time when in bed.
