Electronic Braking & Retractable Wheels controlled using a Handset.
The wheels are retracted inside the hollow legs when stationary. When the bed requires moving, the wheels extend, lifting the bed from its legs onto it’s wheels. The wheels are extended & retracted from a simple button press on the handset, controlling low voltage motors.
As a safety feature, the wheels will only extend with the bed in it’s lowest position.
Moving using a hospital style four-caster system.
We also offer a four-caster hospital style system. The casters can be locked for extreme stability or released for transport via a foot-operated brake bar. Straight-ahead tracking (locking a head-end or foot-end caster lengthwise) is also set via the brake bar.
